Your comprehensive guide to jazz in the north west

NWJazzworks provides support for the region's jazz musicians, venues, listeners and industries. You can find out all you need to know about jazz in your area - the site is split into the region's counties: Cheshire, Cumbria, Greater Manchester, Lancashire and Merseyside. Visit yours - click on the map, or on the toolbar above - to discover a world of jazz on your doorstep: everything from playing gigs to hiring rigs, from taking a class to buying some brass… And best of all, if you are involved in jazz in the north west, you can add your own details to the site.

The north west is home to about 20 jazz festivals, from rural traditional jazz weekends to urban celebrations of contemporary music; over 200 venues, from pubs to major concert halls; and hundreds of musicians living and working in the region, including many of Britain's leading players.

With so much going on, there's bound to be something here for you.
